Before placing any classified ad on our website, make sure you are not violating any Fair Housing Laws!
Stating a discriminatory preference in a real estate / housing post is illegal, is prohibited on WaldosPost.com, and can be expensive if you violates State & Federal Laws:
- you can be fined more than $10,000 for each discriminatory ad, plus damages in court, plus loss of license if you are a professional
- please avoid phrases that could be interpreted as discriminating by race/color/origin (e.g. 'black neigborhood, hispanic part of town, etc'), religion (e.g. 'catholic home, jewish area, etc'), age / familial status (e.g. 'no children'), disability, or sexual orientation
